MICHELLE STEIN: HIDING IN PLAIN VIEW

For the first time, Michelle Stein is courageously speaking out about her life as an adult child of alcoholics, a survivor of trauma, her own work of recovery and addiction. Michelle loved and cared for parents, siblings, and relatives who lived and died from the life of alcoholism. She experienced the loss of both parents and 4 siblings over a period of 12 years.

Michelle views her work as part of her civic and social responsibility and has made it her life’s purpose to do what she can to advocate for people who are hiding in plain view, those who are fearful of not being enough or stuck in the shadows in need of recovery.

JESSI SHURALEFF: IMAGINE A WORLD OF EMPATHY, WHERE THERE IS NO JUDGMENT

Jessi Shuraleff, host of the podcast, "This Is My Truth", believes that there is a true empathy deficiency in the world right now. You feel like you’re living on an island is, unfortunately, the way many of us live our lives. If we can create the space for one more person to share, and they do the same for someone else...Imagine a world of empathy as opposed to judgment. Jessi believes it starts with speaking and owning our truth.
