In this interview, they share the challenges and frustrations of trying to keep their restaurants afloat and the actions they have taken to date. It has now been 108 days since non-essential businesses were ordered closed in March due to the COVID pandemic, for the safety of all. With all regions of Ontario now in phase two, Kingsville and Leamington have not yet been given the green light to move forward, yet the remainder of Essex County has. Despite the unique challenges in this area of Ontario, they share the struggles they and many other business owners currently face, some who are or will be, closing their doors permanently.
